Inspired by 19th century patterns, the tree of life design on this teacup and saucer features a beautifully intricate tree. The highlights of the bright white porcelain were used to create the branches and 22 karat gold detailing for the leaves. Complete with whimsical details of a mother woodpecker feeding her chick and a surreal giant caterpillar, the pattern is a wonderfully mesmerising interpretation of a traditional porcelain pattern.
